Al-Yahya heads Kuwaiti delegation to two Arab summits in Baghdad

Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, who led the country’s delegation on Saturday to the 34th regular session of the Arab League Summit, held in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, also chaired Kuwait’s delegation to the 5th session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, which was held concurrently with the Arab Summit and attended by several Arab leaders and senior officials.
Kuwait’s active participation in both summits underscores its unwavering commitment to supporting joint Arab action and enhancing solidarity, cooperation, and integration among Arab nations across various sectors, according to Al-Rai daily.
On the sidelines of the summits, Minister Al-Yahya held talks with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
The two ministers reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Kuwait and Iraq and explored avenues for further collaboration across multiple areas in service of both countries and their peoples.
They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments, highlighting the importance of continued coordination on matters of mutual concern.
