Al-Qimmah Media: Warm reception eases the impact of Kuwait’s cold wave

The Gulf Summit media personnel were surprised by the sudden cold wave upon arrival, but the warm reception and careful preparations helped ease the discomfort.

Upon arriving in Kuwait, the media personnel quickly began discussing the sudden, severe cold wave that had arrived without warning.

The Omani media personality Madreen Al Maktoumiya remarked, that from the moment she arrived in Kuwait, she felt extremely cold, unlike Muscat, where the weather was moderate. Frankly, it was surprising.

Al Maktoumiya also added that she received a generous invitation to cover the summit, and she felt confident that it will achieve its goals, especially given Kuwait’s diplomatic roots and its long history of supporting Gulf unity.

For his part, Raafat Al-Kashef, Russia Today’s cameraman, noted that the organization and warm reception were typical of Kuwait, complemented by excellent preparations and great facilities.

Al-Kashef added, that he was surprised by the severe cold weather, but with all impartiality and frankness, the cooperation, good treatment, and warmth of the reception made up for the chill.

For his part, media professional Hassan Al-Zaytouni from Russia Today channel said, he was very happy to return to Kuwait, as his last visit was when US President Bill Clinton came to visit the US forces. Al-Zaytouni was also surprised by the cold weather, unlike the weather in Abu Dhabi, which made him very happy.

Al-Zaytouni wished the Gulf Summit success, praising the excellent reception and preparation.
