Al-Mutlaa’s 6 Areas to be developed for 6.9 million dinars

Sources disclosed that a local contracting company is set to begin infrastructure development in six government areas of Al-Mutlaa Residential City, following the signing of a 6,977,094-dinar contract with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare last month.
Moreover, the sources informed Al-Anba that the project involves the construction, completion, and maintenance of road works and infrastructure service networks, marking a crucial step in preparing the new areas for the delivery of residential plots to citizens.
The sources revealed that the tender awarded to the local company saw intense competition among eight Kuwaiti companies, with financial offers ranging from 6.9 million dinars, the lowest bid, to 13.47 million dinars, the highest offer.
The project will include construction of main roads and service networks in six areas within Al-Mutlaa City, one of Kuwait’s largest housing projects, aimed at providing numerous residential plots for Kuwaiti families.
Furthermore, the sources stated that the project reflects the Public Authority for Housing Welfare’s commitment to expediting the completion of major projects and relying on capable local companies to execute large-scale national initiatives that fulfill citizens’ aspirations and support development goals.
Importantly, the Mutlaa Housing Project is one of the most prominent initiatives the state is developing to meet the growing demand for residential plots, with expectations that it will help reduce waiting times for citizens.
