“Al-Awad” stated ministry committed in enhancing Al-Mutlaa’s cooperative work

The Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, issued a decision to appoint Maryam Al-Awad as the interim director of the Al-Mutlaa Cooperative Society, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the cooperative work system and addressing the needs of Al-Mutlaa residents. The appointment aims to expedite procedures and ensure the provision of essential services to the people of the area.
The interim director of Al-Mutlaa Cooperative Society, Maryam Al-Awad, confirmed that her appointment aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to supporting and strengthening cooperative work as a key pillar in improving the quality of life for citizens, particularly in new areas where essential facilities and services are needed.
Al-Awad explained that the next phase will involve practical steps to enable the association to fulfill its vital role. This includes opening registration for shareholders and providing an opportunity to participate in the association’s shares soon, in preparation for calling the first general assembly to elect the association’s inaugural board of directors, in line with the approved legal frameworks.
Moreover, Al-Awad stressed the importance of cooperation between the interim administration and the people of the region to ensure the provision of the best services and achieve the goals of cooperative work.
Al-Awad also emphasized that the founding committee of the Mutlaa Cooperative is required to hand over all documents and funds to the interim administration within the specified period, ensuring the smooth and transparent operation of the work.
In her concluding statement Al-Awad emphasized that the interim administration is operating under the direct guidance of the Minister, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, and with the support of the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the Mutlaa area.
Al-Awad also praised the exceptional efforts of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ leaders in advancing the goals of cooperative work and ensuring the provision of essential services to citizens.
