Al-Adwani inspects school-based Hussainiyas, urges respect, vigilance, full support for visitors

Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Al-Adwani, accompanied by several senior security officials, conducted an inspection tour of Hussainiya councils hosted in schools to assess their security readiness during the month of Muharram. During the tour, Al-Adwani emphasized the importance of providing all necessary facilities and services to ensure the safety and comfort of council organizers and attendees.
Al-Adwani conveyed the greetings of the political leadership and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef to the Ministry’s personnel stationed at the Hussainiyas. He urged them to uphold the law, treat citizens and residents with respect and cooperation, and ensure all their needs are met without delay, reports Al-Rai daily.
He praised the National Guard’s participation, marking its first-time involvement in supporting Interior Ministry efforts to secure Husseini gatherings. Al-Adwani expressed gratitude for the combined efforts of security, emergency, and civilian agencies, commending their role in maintaining public safety and national security.
In his closing remarks, Al-Adwani reminded the security forces of their critical role in ensuring the success of the Interior Ministry’s security plan, encouraging them to maintain patience, responsibility, and a positive attitude in their interactions with the public.
He concluded with a clear directive saying, “We count on your dedication. The success of this plan rests on your shoulders. Remain alert, and show zero tolerance to anyone who threatens the nation’s security.”
