ICAIKC conducts CPR awareness and learning session in association with INFOK
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC), conducted a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) awareness and learning session in association with the Indian Nurses Federation of Kuwait (INFOK), as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting health, safety, and community well-being among its members.
CA Sweta Chipra, Vice Chairperson, ICAIKC, introduced the trainers and highlighted the importance of acquiring basic life-saving skills, which can enable individuals to respond confidently and appropriately during emergencies.
Speaking on the occasion, CA Venkata Ramana Badida, Chairperson, ICAIKC, emphasized the importance of initiatives that extend beyond professional development and contribute to the well-being of the community.
The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of timely intervention during cardiac emergencies and equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in CPR and emergency response.
Participants were guided on recognising cardiac emergencies, initiating CPR, and taking the appropriate steps while awaiting professional medical assistance.
The interactive session included hands-on demonstrations and practical training, allowing participants to practise the correct CPR techniques under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Vijay Velayudhan, President of the Indian Nurses Federation of Kuwait (INFOK), along with his team, conducted the session and shared valuable insights while guiding participants through the practical aspects of CPR and emergency response.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from ICAIKC members and their families, reflecting the importance and growing interest in awareness initiatives that equip individuals with essential emergency-response skills.
