Dr. Al-Mashaan visits Duqm Port in Oman, strengths transport cooperation
Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan visited the Sultanate of Oman, where she was received at the Duqm Port by Omani Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Engineer Saeed Al-Maawali, in the presence of the ministry’s Undersecretary for Transport, Engineer Khamis Al-Shamkhi.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Public Works, the visit aims to strengthen cooperation between Kuwait and Oman in the transport and logistics sectors.
During the visit, Dr Al-Mashaan and her accompanying delegation were briefed on the Duqm Port’s capabilities and integrated infrastructure, including its role in supporting trade and supply chains.
The visit also provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss areas of cooperation and exchange expertise, with the aim of enhancing logistical integration and strengthening bilateral cooperation in transport and logistics.
