‘Not worth two dinars’ misbah dispute leads to breach-of-trust case
Social media page administrator summoned for interrogation by Salhiya Police Station

A Kuwaiti man is facing a breach-of-trust complaint after a dispute over a misbah that its owner said he intended to sell for at least 300 dinars through an online auction page.
According to a report filed by a Kuwaiti man in his 50s, he follows social media pages specializing in auctions and contacted the administrator of one such page, who is also a Kuwaiti citizen, to arrange the sale of the misbah.
The complainant said he sent a representative to hand over the misbah to the page administrator for listing in the auction. However, more than a month passed without the item being advertised. When he contacted the administrator to ask about the delay, he was reportedly assured that the matter would be resolved.
Another month passed, after which the owner contacted the administrator again and requested that his misbah be returned. He was allegedly told that “the misbah isn’t worth two dinars.”
The administrator then reportedly blocked the complainant’s phone number. The complainant subsequently went to Al-Salhiya Police Station and filed a breach-of-trust case. Investigator Abdullah Qunais ordered that the accused be summoned for questioning in connection with the complaint.
