Kuwait condemns continued Iranian drone attacks on vital, military facilities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as the continued Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait, following drone attacks that targeted several vital and military installations across the country.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry denounced the attacks in the strongest terms, saying the use of hostile drones constituted a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, posed a direct threat to the country’s security and stability, and represented a serious breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The ministry said the repeated attacks marked a dangerous escalation and reflected what it described as a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted under any circumstances.
Reaffirming Kuwait’s commitment to safeguarding its national interests, the ministry stressed that the State retains its inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to preserve its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents in accordance with international law.
The statement underscored Kuwait’s determination to confront threats to its territorial integrity while continuing efforts to maintain the country’s security and stability amid heightened regional tensions.
