Technical issue delays annual evaluations at PADA

The Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities (PADA) is facing delays in completing its annual employee evaluations due to a technical glitch. Last week, senior officials at the Authority met officials from the Civil Service Commission to address this issue with the aim of resolving it before the fiscal year’s end.

The Authority is actively working to finalize evaluations to facilitate the distribution of commendable work rewards to deserving employees before Ramadan’s conclusion. Evaluations are categorized based on percentage scores, ranging from “weak” (54% or less) to “excellent” (90% and above), reports Al-Jarida daily.

These evaluations are computed using five key factors, including individual and group performance, personal capabilities, and adherence to official duties. The Authority remains committed to the Bureau’s guidelines, which allocate 70% weight to job performance and 30% to attendance records via fingerprint verification.

In another development, under the supervision of the Deputy Director of the Authority for Educational and Rehabilitation Services, the Authority is set to inaugurate the second branch of the Integrated Care Institution for People with Disabilities in Mahboula next Tuesday.

This institution, catering to individuals aged 6 to 45 with mental and dual mental disabilities, boasts an array of rehabilitation workshops and services, positioning it as Kuwait’s largest facility of its kind. This initiative underscores the Authority’s dedication to fostering an inclusive society that treats persons with disabilities on par with others.
