GTD partially opens Road 604 linking Sabah Al Nasser to Kabd

The Ministry of Public Works announced on Monday the partial opening of Road 604 for traffic coming from Sabah Al Nasser towards Kabd, in coordination with the General Traffic Department, as part of ongoing efforts to improve road connectivity and ease traffic flow in the area.
The ministry said the move also includes the closure of the existing traffic diversion that had been in place during previous construction and maintenance works.
The partial reopening is expected to facilitate smoother movement for motorists travelling between Sabah Al Nasser and Kabd, while supporting the ministry’s broader infrastructure development and road improvement plans across the country.
Authorities affirmed that coordination with the General Traffic Department will continue to ensure traffic safety and regulate vehicle movement during the remaining phases of the project.
