Kuwait Meteorology forecasts hot weather, dust-raising winds during Eid holiday
Acting Director of the Meteorology Department Dhirar Al-Ali forecast Monday extremely hot weather and active dust-raising winds in Kuwait during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Al-Ali told KUNA that weather charts indicate the country will be affected by a relatively hot air mass and northwesterly winds reducing horizontal visibility in some areas.
He said weather conditions will gradually improve from Monday afternoon as winds ease, while temperatures are expected to rise gradually in the coming days.
Al-Ali added that temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will range between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius, rising to between 47 and 49 degrees on Thursday and Friday.
He noted that coastal areas are expected to experience relatively humid conditions Thursday evening, while sea waves will remain light to moderate.
