PACI launches new ‘Hawyati’ App service
. . . to issue QR code for Civil ID collection in first-time and replacement cases

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced on Thursday the launch of a new service via the “Hawyati” app, allowing users to generate a QR code for collecting their civil ID cards in cases of first-time issuance or replacement for lost cards.
In a statement published on its official account on X (formerly Twitter), the authority said the initiative aims to simplify the civil ID collection process and speed up service completion for the public.
PACI explained that users will receive a notification through the “Hawyati” app once their civil ID is ready, including a link to generate a QR code.
After entering their phone number, a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to verify the user, following which the QR code for card collection will be issued for use at the time of delivery.
