MoI arrests 4 for drug, alcohol possession amid security crackdown

Kuwait’s interior ministry (MoI) on Wednesday said that its security forces had arrested four people in separate incidents for the possession of narcotics and alcohol, citing an ongoing security crackdown against illicit drugs.
The latest arrests come two days after Kuwaiti security forces detained 11 people found to be in possession of drugs and narcotics, while the ministry has emphasized that there would be no letup in the fight against drug traffickers as part of efforts to protect the nation from this “scourge”.
