Back to school, Education Ministry rolls out plan as students return to campuses

- Examinations for tenth and eleventh grade students will begin on June 3
- Grade 12 students to sit for their exams starting June 17
High schools across Kuwait reopened today, welcoming students, teachers, and administrative staff back to classrooms after 64 days of remote learning implemented in response to recent regional developments. Campuses were once again filled with activity as in-person education resumed.
The Ministry of Education activated its comprehensive return-to-school plan, which includes the operation of school buses for secondary-level students (boys and girls) starting Sunday, ensuring smooth transportation and attendance.
Academically, technical guidance teams have begun preparing question banks, exam models, and intensive revision programs aligned with the reduced curriculum for the second semester.
These measures aim to support students academically while also improving their psychological readiness ahead of exams.
The ministry confirmed that examinations for tenth and eleventh grade students will begin on June 3, while twelfth grade students across the scientific, literary, and religious streams are scheduled to sit for their exams starting June 17.
