PAAET Issues Safety Guide to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness Under Current Conditions
Al-Azmi: Guide serves as comprehensive reference for handling emergency situations

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training announced the issuance of a “Safety Guide” to enhance institutional readiness and raise awareness of security and safety procedures, in line with the current circumstances in the region.
Sheikha Al-Azmi, Director of Public Relations at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, confirmed that the issuance of the guide stems from the authority’s keenness to protect its members and ensure a safe educational and training environment, explaining that the guide “was prepared in accordance with the guidelines and instructions of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, to be a comprehensive reference that clarifies the mechanisms for dealing with emergency cases.”
Al-Azmi added that the guide includes a set of guidelines and preventive measures that contribute to raising the level of preparedness among the staff of the authority, and support the continuity of the educational and training process efficiently, with a focus on the safety of everyone in various circumstances.
She stated that the Public Relations Department, in conjunction with the issuance of the guide, implemented an awareness campaign that included preparing and publishing simplified guidance posters during current events, addressing proper ways to act in emergencies, prevention procedures, and communication mechanisms, in order to promote a culture of awareness and responsibility within the organization.
She stressed the importance of all members of the authority adhering to what is stated in the “Safety Guide” and the accompanying awareness materials, and cooperating with the competent authorities, stressing that safety is a collective responsibility that requires constant awareness and preparedness.
