Ministry of Information stresses high standards, prior coordination for media content

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information affirmed that all media materials broadcast or published on official television and radio channels, as well as its approved digital platforms, are subject to precise professional and procedural frameworks.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the ministry said the frameworks ensure high quality content that aligns with national principles and state media policy, reflects Kuwait’s civilized image, and preserves its reputation.
The ministry commended individual and institutional initiatives that promote a sense of belonging, provided they meet approved professional and technical standards. The standards cover script and content quality, presentation, and performance to ensure content reflects national values and embodies Kuwaiti unity, the statement added.
The ministry stressed the necessity of prior coordination with it when producing, executing, or publishing any national works.
The ministry said the regulations reflect its commitment to developing the media and arts sector and raising national content standards to meet the aspirations of the state and society. – Kuna
