Greece Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On the occasion of the 65th National Day and the 35th Anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait, allow me to convey the warm congratulations of the Government and the People of Greece to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

These two anniversaries bear special significance, as they highlight the resilience and determination of the people of Kuwait, as well as their unwavering dedication and commitment to safeguarding freedom and preserving national sovereignty.

As Greeks, we take pride in the fact that our country actively participated in the Coalition of States whose action led to the Liberation of Kuwait. It is a distinct privilege for me, as Ambassador of Greece to the State of Kuwait, to acknowledge the excellent level of bilateral relations, founded upon mutual respect and shared principles, including adherence to international law and the peaceful coexistence of nations.

In today’s rapidly evolving geopolitical environment, Greece and Kuwait stand together and work in close cooperation to promote peace and stability, both in the region and beyond.
