Kuwait marks flag-raising ceremony to launch national holiday celebrations

The State of Kuwait marks today, Sunday, the official flag-raising ceremony under the patronage of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, signaling the beginning of the country’s national holiday celebrations.
Flag-Raising Day ushers in festivities for the 65th anniversary of National Day and the 35th anniversary of Liberation Day, ensuring that the meanings, values, and historic significance of these occasions remain alive in the hearts of the people, reports Al-Rai daily.
The nation reflects with pride on its rich history and the achievements realized under the leadership of Kuwait’s wise rulers across all sectors.
The six governorates will witness official flag-raising ceremonies in a festive atmosphere, marking the launch of nationwide events and activities.
Streets and government buildings will be adorned with images of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, alongside the Kuwaiti flag — scenes that embody joy, unity, and national pride on these cherished occasions.
