Al Ain Museum highlights UAE-Kuwait ties through heritage and tradition

Al Ain Museum hosted a cultural event titled “The UAE & Kuwait, An Enduring Bond” on Thursday, 29 January 2026, as part of the Museum Talks series.

The event highlighted the course of bilateral relations between the two countries across different historical periods and celebrated the long-standing ties between them and their shared cultural heritage.

The program featured a lecture, led by Dr Khawla Almarri, Head of Education and Community Engagement at Al Ain Museum, which explored the historical and contemporary connections between the UAE and Kuwait across education, culture, and cultural exchange.

Through engaging dialogue, the session highlighted how these bilateral relationships have shaped knowledge, traditions, and creative practices over time.

Attendees also enjoyed interactive experiences, including children’s workshops and live performances of Al Nahma, a traditional maritime art form shared between the UAE and Kuwait, reflecting the cultural fusion and heritage of both countries.

The event offered audiences an immersive experience of the vibrant traditions that unite the two nations while fostering appreciation for their enduring cultural bonds.
