The fifth edition of KOGS reflects Kuwait’s continued commitment to playing an active role in the global energy industry, exchanging expertise, transferring knowledge and building strategic partnerships that serve national interests and enhance Kuwait’s global standing.

Chief Executive Officer of the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Ahmed Al-Eidan said the fifth edition of the Kuwait Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition (KOGS 2026) will be held on February 3 under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, underscoring Kuwait’s pivotal role in the regional and global energy landscape.
Al-Eidan, who also chairs the conference’s organizing committee, said the three-day event will bring together energy ministers and chief executives of leading regional and international companies, alongside senior officials, investors and experts, who will participate in specialized discussion sessions addressing key challenges and future trends in the energy sector.
He described KOGS 2026 as one of the world’s leading forums dedicated to oil, gas and energy, providing a strategic platform for dialogue on energy security, sustainability, innovation and responsible development, while strengthening international cooperation and partnerships, reports Al-Rai daily.
The conference and exhibition will be hosted across several prominent venues in Kuwait, with the opening ceremony and executive sessions taking place at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, while the accompanying exhibition and official events will be held at the Arena Hall at 360 Mall. Al-Eidan said the event will be organized to the highest international standards, reflecting Kuwait’s readiness to host major global gatherings.
Al-Eidan noted that KOGS 2026 will provide Kuwait with extensive regional and international media exposure, enhancing its image as a leading energy producer, a reliable partner in global energy dialogue, and an attractive destination for investment.
He also highlighted the anticipated economic benefits of the event, including increased activity in the hospitality, tourism, transportation, retail and services sectors, higher hotel occupancy rates, and expanded direct and indirect investment opportunities, particularly for national companies and small and medium enterprises involved in organizing and delivering the event.
The conference, he added, will further promote business and conference tourism by attracting thousands of international and regional participants, while showcasing Kuwait’s cultural, urban and tourism assets and reinforcing its position as a preferred destination for international conferences and exhibitions.
Al-Eidan stressed that the fifth edition of KOGS reflects Kuwait’s continued commitment to playing an active role in the global energy industry, exchanging expertise, transferring knowledge and building strategic partnerships that serve national interests and enhance Kuwait’s global standing.
He said the event aligns with the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035, particularly in empowering youth, embracing advanced technologies, promoting environmental sustainability, and contributing to research on the future and security of global energy.
