Army Chief inspects supply and logistics operations

Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraiaan, on Monday underscored the importance of sustained training, enhancing the efficiency of technical and administrative personnel, and the continuous development of systems to keep pace with the operational requirements of the armed forces.
His remarks were made during an inspection visit to the Supply and Logistics Authority, according to a statement issued by the General Staff.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Al-Shuraiaan reviewed work progress and assessed procedures related to various support and assistance functions, reports Al-Rai daily.
He praised the notable improvement in performance and organizational standards within the Authority, commending the efforts of its personnel in modernizing operational systems and strengthening institutional efficiency.
The Chief of Staff also received a comprehensive briefing on the Authority’s responsibilities and its future plans aimed at further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of supply and logistics operations.
Upon his arrival, Lieutenant General Al-Shuraiaan was received by the Assistant Chief of the General Staff for Supply and Logistics, Major General Engineer Salah Al-Azmi, along with a number of officers from the Authority. He was accompanied during the visit by several senior army officers.
