Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Eng. Hamad Al-Hamad, has officially endorsed the examination schedules for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year for secondary-level students in grades 10, 11, and 12 across the scientific, literary, and religious education streams.
According to the Ministry, exams for grades 10 and 11 in both scientific and literary sections will commence on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Twelfth-grade examinations for the scientific and literary tracks will begin on Sunday, January 4, 2026, while Grade 12 students in the religious education stream will start their exams on Sunday, December 28, 2025, reports Al-Rai daily.
To ensure a fair and comfortable testing environment, the Ministry announced that an additional 15 minutes will be included for every exam to allow students sufficient time to review instructions and verify question papers.
In accordance with the General Guidance Council’s directives, students with learning difficulties will receive an additional 30 minutes for all subjects.
