Filipino tourists will soon be able to visit Oman without a visa, as the Gulf nation plans to grant visa-free entry for stays of up to two weeks beginning in 2026.
The announcement was made by Oman’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Nasser Said Abdullah Al Manwari, during the country’s National Day celebration in Makati City.
According to officials, the initiative aims to boost tourism and further strengthen cultural and bilateral ties between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Philippines embassy in Muscat in a text message to the Inquirer on Friday, Ambassador Raul Hernandez said the initiative forms part of Oman’s broader efforts to attract increased investment and trade, and to further promote the Sultanate as a destination for business and tourism.
