Algerian Ambassador Belhadj highlights deepening Algerian-Kuwaiti relations

The Algerian Embassy in Kuwait celebrated the 71st anniversary of the November 1, 1954 revolution, in the presence of the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Mishal.

The newly-appointed Algerian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Omar Belhadj, in his opening address, affirmed the depth of Algerian-Kuwaiti relations, which, he said, witnesses continuous development thanks to the directives of the leadership of the two countries, stressing their keenness to raise cooperation to broader levels.

He emphasized that the two countries are working to hold the next session of the joint committee at the beginning of 2026, to discuss ways to enhance economic, investment and military cooperation, and to open new horizons for the bilateral partnership.

Belhaj said, “Our distinguished relations are characterized by continuous consultation and close coordination, and we are constantly working to develop them to reach the level of the aspirations of the leadership of both countries.”
