6,186 Traffic violations issued over two days

Over the past two days, the Traffic and Operations Sector in Kuwait confronted violators, monitored violations, conducted traffic campaigns, and deployed patrols across various governorates.

As a result, 6,186 various traffic violations were issued, 6 individuals were referred to traffic police, and 9 people were handed over to juvenile prosecution. Additionally, two individuals wanted by security were apprehended, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry reported that the campaigns led to the seizure of 152 vehicles, which were subsequently impounded. Furthermore, 199 violations related to nuisance noise were issued, 12 wanted vehicles were seized, and 167 radar violations were recorded.

The department emphasized the ongoing commitment of the General Traffic Department to conduct campaigns and enforce the law without leniency for violators. It stressed the crucial importance of adhering to traffic laws to ensure the safety of all road users.
