The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) has referred a board member of a cooperative society and a supervisor at a government agency to the Public Prosecution for allegedly submitting false financial disclosure statements.
Nazaha stressed the importance for all individuals subject to these disclosure requirements to complete and submit their statements accurately and within the legally established deadlines, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The authority highlighted that this obligation is both legal and ethical, serving to safeguard public funds, uphold transparency and integrity, and reinforce public confidence in state institutions.
