Met predicts dusty weather for this weekend

The Meteorological Department expects hot weather during the day and moderate to hot weather at night over the weekend, with a chance of dust.

Director of the department, Dharar Al-Ali, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that “The winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active, ranging from 12 to 50 kilometers per hour, with a chance of dust especially in open areas.

The expected maximum temperatures will be between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius, while at night they will range between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius.”

Regarding the weather on Saturday, he said it will be “hot with light to moderate northwesterly winds, sometimes active, ranging from 15 to 50 kilometers per hour, with a chance of dust. Maximum temperatures expected will range between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius.”
