Firefighters contain two blazes triggered by gas leaks

Firefighters from Al-Shaheed and Al-Hilali fire centers brought under control a fire that broke out in a house in the Mansouriya area on Monday evening, following an explosion caused by a cooking gas leak.

The teams swiftly evacuated residents and extinguished the flames. One person was inured and he was handed over to the emergency medical personnel.

In a separate incident, firemen from Al-Ardhiya and Al-Sumoud centers contained a blaze in a restaurant in the Al-Ardhiya Industrial Area, also caused by a gas leak explosion. Two people were injured in the accident.

Both incidents highlight the dangers of gas leaks and the quick response of personnel from the Kuwait Fire Force in preventing further casualties and damage.
