Workers at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina made a grim discovery today morning when they found a body inside the wheel well of an American Airlines plane shortly after it landed from Europe.
The aircraft arrived around 9:00 a.m. and was undergoing routine post-flight checks when airport staff came across the body. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police confirmed that the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
