The French Football League announced on Friday that Kuwait will host the French Champions Cup (Super Cup) on January 8. The match, organized in cooperation with the Kuwait Football Association, will bring together Paris Saint-Germain, the French league champion and Cup winner, and Olympique de Marseille, the league runner-up, at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, reported Al Jarida newspaper.
This clash will mark the third “classico” between the two rivals in the history of the tournament, following their previous matches in the 2010 and 2020 editions.
