Eng. In a statement, Al-Osaimi said the authority continues to monitor operations around the clock, providing equipment such as water pumps and ensuring rapid deployment of specialized units.
A comprehensive plan has been developed to identify locations where rainwater may collect, with field teams assigned to monitor and address these areas immediately. Coordination with relevant government bodies is ongoing to unify efforts, with the priority being to minimize the impact of rainfall on traffic and protect road users’ safety.
On infrastructure projects, sources from the authority revealed that major maintenance work on the Seventh Ring Road is progressing rapidly, reaching 83.42 percent completion.
This far exceeds the contractual progress rate of 27.77 percent, reflecting both the accelerated pace of work and the commitment of implementing agencies to meet and surpass schedules. The authority remains committed to strict quality standards and timely delivery, which will ease pressure on the wider road network and improve services for motorists.

The authority urged motorists to drive cautiously during these works and follow instructions from traffic safety teams to ensure safe passage.
