3 contracts worth 29.9 million dinars for affordable housing signed for Al-Mutlaa

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare has signed three construction contracts worth a total of 29.9 million dinars as part of infrastructure development works in Al-Mutlaa Residential City and the affordable housing project.
Acting Director General Engineer Rashid Al-Anzi said the contracts aim to develop the main road network and strengthen the electricity supply system, supporting infrastructure efficiency and urban expansion in new residential areas.
He said the agreements include two contracts in Al-Mutlaa City for the construction, completion and maintenance of asphalt layers and related works such as sidewalks, tiles and kerbstones, in addition to roadworks in suburbs N9, N10 and N11 worth 9.67 million dinars, and suburbs N6, N7 and N8 worth 9.74 million dinars. Each contract will be implemented over 730 days.
Al-Anzi said the third contract covers the affordable housing project and includes the supply, installation and maintenance of three main 132/11 kV transformer stations serving sites MS-05, MS-06 and MS-07, with a value of 10.49 million dinars and an implementation period of 730 days.
He added that the contracts are part of the authority’s plan to adhere to project timelines and provide essential infrastructure in new residential cities in line with national development goals.
