‘Information’ cancels licenses of Al-Sabah newspaper and channel
The Ministry of Information in Kuwait has issued two administrative decisions that revoked the licenses of both Al-Sabah Newspaper and Al-Sabah Satellite Channel.
As a result of these decisions Al-Sabah TV Channel has officially suspended its broadcasting; Al-Sabah Newspaper has ceased all its publication activities, reports Al-Rai daily.
This effectively means that both media outlets have been shut down and are no longer operating under their prior licenses.
