Kuwait to host landmark Oil & Gas conferences on digitalization and safety

Kuwait’s Ministry of Oil has announced that it will host two major regional conferences this September, positioning the country at the forefront of digital transformation, asset integrity, and process safety in the oil and gas sector. These strategic gatherings reflect Kuwait’s vision of becoming a global benchmark for energy innovation and industrial excellence.

The conferences will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Tariq Suleiman Al-Roumi, Minister of Oil, and His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Nimr Fahad Al Malik Al Sabah. Both leaders have emphasized the importance of innovation and safety as cornerstones of Kuwait’s long-term development goals.

The 2nd Digital Transformation Kuwait Oil & Gas Conference will take place on September 8–9, 2025. Immediately following, the inaugural Asset Integrity and Process Safety Kuwait Conference will be held on September 10–11, 2025. Both events will be hosted at the Jumeirah Messilah Hotel in Kuwait.

Organized by the Ministry of Oil – Kuwait, and supported by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), the two official platforms are expected to attract more than 500 senior decision-makers, over 40 expert speakers, and more than 50 global and regional solution providers. Together, they will serve as pivotal forums for advancing Kuwait’s energy sector through digital innovation and world-class safety standards.

The Ministry of Oil stressed that digital transformation, asset integrity, and process safety are essential to Kuwait’s energy resilience and its ability to achieve national development strategies. The conferences, it added, will foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and leadership to shape a safe, efficient, and globally competitive oil and gas sector.

The Digital Transformation Kuwait Oil & Gas Conference builds on the success of its inaugural edition, this time focusing on Kuwait’s national agenda for energy digitalization. Central themes will include artificial intelligence, automation, digital twin technology, predictive analytics, and cyber resilience across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Meanwhile, the Asset Integrity and Process Safety Kuwait Conference will make its debut as a dedicated platform to address integrity management, safety practices, and operational reliability across Kuwait’s critical energy infrastructure—marking a milestone in the country’s industrial strategy.

The Kuwait Oil Company welcomed the initiative, reaffirming its commitment to innovation. “KOC remains committed in its dedication to driving digital transformation across the energy cycle.

The 2nd Kuwait Digital Transformation Oil & Gas Conference is more than an event, it is a demonstration of our leadership in adopting cutting-edge technologies and fostering collaboration that will define the future of Kuwait’s oil and gas industry,” said Mohammad Al-Abdeljalil, Deputy CEO (Planning & Innovation), KOC.

With the support of partners such as the Great Minds Group—an established organizer of high-level government and industry forums—these conferences aim to drive transformative partnerships, secure energy systems, and shape a sustainable future for Kuwait and the wider region.
