The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has recently declared the commencement of the “Azraq” cold, which is anticipated to last for approximately eight consecutive days during the carp season. Al-Ajiri Al-Alami, in a statement to KUNA, elucidated that this period encompasses the coldest day of the winter, particularly in open and desert regions. He further elaborated that as the Earth gradually approaches the spring equinox, the days are becoming longer, while the night hours are shortening, reported Al-Jarida Daily.
