Sheikha Suhaila Fahad Al-Sabah Honored for CSR Advocacy

The Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has awarded honorary membership of the ‘Arab Fund for the Support of Corporate Social Responsibility Research’ to Sheikha Suhaila Fahad Al-Sabah, director of the Journal of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies at Kuwait University.

Esteemed member of the International Federation for CSR, Dr. Abdullah Al-Matrookk, did the honours in a ceremony held at the headquarters of the International Islamic Charitable Organization with the participation of a number of figures.

Sheikha Suhaila Al-Sabah, said that CSR has played an important role in the advancement of many societies. She stressed that the Regional Network for CSR plays a major role in promoting the culture of corporate social responsibility at the level of Arab countries.

She praised their tireless efforts in supporting CSR research and its endless commitment to expanding the concepts of social duties and their positive impact on the lives of individuals and societies.

Sheikha Suhaila Al-Sabah expressed her deep gratitude and pride to the Regional Network for CSR for this honor, pointing out that this was a great motivation to work harder and continue to be committed to responsibilities towards society.

The Regional Network for Corporate Social Responsibility was founded in 2007 and is an international non-profit organization with branches, offices, and representation agreements in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries.

The network aims to raise awareness of corporate social responsibility for companies and institutions and work to promote it in the government, non-profit, and private sectors
