MOI reviews security readiness at Hussainiyas during Muharram
On the second day of Muharram, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Misfer Al-Adwani, conducted a field inspection of several Hussainiyas across Kuwait.
The visit was to assess the implementation of the Ministry’s security and organizational plan to safeguard religious rituals during the holy month, reports Al-Rai daily.
Major General Al-Adwani reviewed the deployment of security teams, patrols, and checkpoints, emphasizing the need for coordination between various sectors and maintaining a high level of preparedness to ensure the safety of both citizens and residents.
He also praised the professionalism and discipline of the security personnel, urging them to continue operating with seriousness and efficiency as a reflection of the Ministry’s commitment to securing religious events.
