Farwaniya Gov urges enhanced medical readiness, community cooperation for emergencies

Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser has called for strengthening medical precautions and ensuring the availability of essential supplies for the Crisis and Emergency Management Department.
He also emphasized the importance of raising public awareness and ensuring the full cooperation of all government agencies with the healthcare system to guarantee the effectiveness of emergency response plans when needed, reports Al-Rai daily.
The governor’s remarks came during a meeting at his office with the Director of Farwaniya Hospital, Dr. Ali Al-Mutairi, Head of the Emergency Department Dr. Jenan Al-Razouki, and medical team members Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Buraidi and Dr. Ayman Hindi. The meeting was also attended by the Director of Farwaniya Governorate Security, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mutairi.
During the session, the governor reviewed a video presentation detailing Farwaniya Hospital’s capacity, specialties, and the emergency response strategies developed by the Crisis Management Unit.
Dr. Al-Mutairi affirmed that the hospital is fully prepared with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities and is staffed by qualified medical professionals available around the clock to serve the residents of the governorate. He also stressed the critical role of the public in supporting the healthcare system’s efforts by following official health updates and promoting awareness within the community.
The meeting highlighted the need for proactive coordination between medical and security authorities to ensure the governorate’s readiness to respond effectively to potential crises or emergencies.
