EPA coordinates with authorities to mitigate environmental risks

Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority (EPA), Nouf Behbehani, said on Saturday that the authority is closely monitoring ongoing regional developments and is conducting a comprehensive evaluation of their environmental effects both in Kuwait and on an international scale.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Behbehani explained that the EPA is acting in line with its responsibility to protect both the environment and public health.

She emphasized that the authority is working in coordination with other relevant government bodies to assess the situation and ensure an appropriate response.

Behbehani noted that the EPA remains committed to tracking current environmental conditions and ensuring the availability of accurate information, while taking any necessary measures in a timely manner to mitigate risks.
