Interior Ministry Undersecretary inspects passport services during Eid holiday

This morning, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Misfer Al-Adwani, visited the General Directorate of Nationality and Travel Documents to assess operations related to the issuance of Article 8 passports during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

Accompanied by several senior security officials, Major General Al-Adwani received a comprehensive briefing on the workflow and service delivery mechanisms in place during the holiday period. He commended the high level of readiness and professionalism demonstrated by the department in ensuring uninterrupted service and meeting the needs of the public efficiently, reports Al-Anba daily.

During the visit, Major General Al-Adwani conveyed the greetings and congratulations of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, to the staff, expressing appreciation for their dedication and efforts in fulfilling their duties despite the holiday.

In his concluding remarks, he emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality, responsive services, noting that departments dealing directly with the public serve as a vital reflection of the Ministry of Interior’s institutional performance and commitment to excellence.
