Cooking gas cylinder leak sparks apartment fire in Abu Halifa, one injured

The Kuwait Fire Force said firefighting teams Mangaf and Fahaheel fire stations contained a fire that broke out in a residential apartment building in the Abu Halifa on Friday evening. The incident was triggered by an explosion caused by a cooking gas leak.
According to the statement released by the KFF, emergency response units were immediately dispatched to but and firemen took precautionary measures by evacuating the premises and securing the area, before putting out the blaze to prevent it from spreading to nearby apartments or structures, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The swift intervention of the teams managed to bring the fire under control and minimize potential property damage. However, the explosion and subsequent fire resulted in one person sustaining injuries.
