FAIPS DPS celebrates brilliance at the Scholar Badge ceremony 2025

In a radiant celebration of academic excellence, FAIPS DPS Kuwait hosted its much-anticipated Scholar Badge Ceremony recently, honoring the brightest minds from Grades 8, 9, 11, and IGCSE for the academic year 2024–25. A tradition of pride and prestige since the school’s inception in 1995, the event made a grand return post-pandemic, rekindling the spirit of recognition and achievement.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Mr. Lakshitha Pradeep Ratnayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Kuwait, whose distinguished diplomatic service added a touch of global prestige to the ceremony.
The program commenced with a heartfelt salutation to Kuwait, featuring the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a reverent recitation of the Holy Quran and its translation. Setting a sacred and symbolic tone, Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli led the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the Grade Coordinators and set against the soulful backdrop of a Veena recital by Moutika Manikandan and Mirudangam by Ramana Ramachandran, celebrating the triumph of knowledge and enlightenment.
Senior Council Head Boys Vyom Mehta and Khlood Nawaz delivered a warm and eloquent welcome to the Chief Guest, lauding His Excellency’s contributions to diplomacy, cultural exchange, and international goodwill.
In his address, Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli praised the unwavering commitment of FAIPS students and families, encouraging them to continue their journey of academic excellence and personal growth.
The cultural segment of the ceremony was a feast for the senses. The audience was treated to a vibrant fusion of regional Indian melodies, a graceful classical dance performance portraying stories of devotion and tradition, and an electrifying Sri Lankan dance, paying homage to the heritage of the honored guest’s homeland. The performances showcased not only talent but the cultural depth of FAIPS students.
His Excellency Mr. Ratnayake then took the stage, delivering a powerful address that inspired and enlightened students, staff, and parents alike. As a token of appreciation, he was presented with a memento by the Principal, marking the moment with warmth and gratitude.
The highlight of the evening — the Scholar Badge Distribution — saw the proud scholars step onto the stage to receive their badges and certificates, their faces beaming with pride, cheered on by proud parents and applauding peers. It was a moment of well-earned recognition for their dedication, discipline, and determination.
The ceremony concluded on a note of heartfelt appreciation, as Senior Council Heads Jatan Shah and Zoya Kulsum delivered a moving vote of thanks, acknowledging the invaluable support of the Chief Guest, school leadership, dedicated parents, and the entire organizing team whose tireless efforts made the celebration a resounding success.
