Power disrupted in Hawalli due to Salmiya W substation malfunction

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Sunday that the Salmiya W main substation experienced a sudden malfunction, resulting in a partial power outage across several areas in the Hawalli Governorate.

In an official statement, the ministry assured the public that emergency teams have been promptly dispatched to the site and are currently working to restore service. Repairs are expected to be completed in less than an hour, according to Al-Jarida.
