Kuwait commits to government reform, innovation, and integrity

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to restructuring governance, embracing digital transformation, enhancing the work environment, investing in human capital, and achieving sustainable development efficiently.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, stated that the World Government Summit is a leading global platform where leaders and decision-makers exchange ideas to shape a future-oriented, sustainable governance model, strengthening the UAE’s role in future governance.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, emphasized that “Kuwait is committed to restructuring the government apparatus to align with digital transformation, enhance integrity, improve the work environment, invest in human capital, and efficiently implement development plans to achieve sustainable goals,” the Al Rai newspaper reported.

Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said in a press statement—upon his arrival in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as head of the Kuwaiti delegation at the World Government Summit in Dubai—that “the summit is becoming increasingly important amid accelerating global challenges that necessitate developing future strategies to enhance government efficiency and strengthen international cooperation. This, in turn, will positively impact the quality of life, service standards, and government productivity worldwide.”

The Prime Minister, who delivered a keynote speech at the conference, added, “The World Government Summit continues to gain momentum and achieve successive successes year after year. It has become a premier global platform for leaders and decision-makers to exchange experiences and ideas in shaping a future-oriented, sustainable governance model. Additionally, it has played a key role in solidifying the UAE’s position as a hub for anticipating the future of governance.”
