‘South Khaitan’ facilities closed for violating fire safety requirements

The General Fire Force conducted an inspection campaign in the South Khaitan area in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait Municipality, the Public Environment Authority, the Public Authority for Manpower, and the Ministry of Electricity. The campaign resulted in the administrative closure of violators of several facilities for failing to meet safety and fire prevention requirements.

Importantly, the General Fire Force stated in a press release today that the inspection campaign in South Khaitan was conducted under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

The campaign was supervised by Major General Talal Al-Roumi, Chief of the General Fire Force, and attended by the Acting Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Manal Al-Asfour. The initiative aimed to monitor buildings and facilities that failed to meet safety and fire prevention requirements.
