“Interior Ministry” records 4,122 traffic violations through AI cameras

The Ministry of Interior announced that a total of 4,122 traffic violations were recorded, including offenses such as not wearing seat belts and using mobile phones while driving. These violations were detected through automated monitoring cameras that are enhanced with artificial intelligence technologies.

In a statement issued today, Saturday, 21 December, the Ministry of Interior urged all road users to adhere to traffic rules. The ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to intensify monitoring and awareness campaigns “to maintain everyone’s safety.” It also called on drivers to take responsibility for following traffic regulations to ensure a safe environment on the roads.
