‘Kuwait’s Education Ministry’ committed in inspiring students to preserve Arabic language

The Ministry of Education, through the General Technical Guidance of the Arabic Language, celebrated the International Day of the Arabic Language and Artificial Intelligence today, Wednesday, under the patronage of Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaei.

The event was attended by the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for General Education, Mansour Al-Dhafiri and Acting General Technical Guidance of the Arabic Language, Tariq Al-Anzi.

The Acting Assistant Undersecretary for General Education, Mansour Al-Dhafiri emphasized in his speech during the ceremony that, Arabic is the language of the Holy Quran. Al-Dhafiri stressed the Ministry’s commitment to encouraging students to preserve this sacred language in which the Holy Book was revealed.

Al-Dhafiri praised the efforts of the Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of the Arabic Language, in organizing and supporting such events.

The Acting General Technical Supervisor of the Arabic Language, Tariq Al-Anzi noted that, the world celebrates the International Day of the Arabic Language annually on December 18.

Al-Anzi highlighted that the exhibition organized by the Ministry today to mark this occasion included the participation of all educational regions and private education schools.

Furthermore, Al-Anzi highlighted the creativity of the participating male and female students in showcasing the beauty and richness of the Arabic language.

Al-Anzi explained that the Arabic language curricula were integrated with artificial intelligence and technical challenges, demonstrating how the language can adapt to modern advancements and address the difficulties it faces.

Nonetheless, Al-Anzi stated that a comprehensive plan is underway to develop curricula that align with advancements in augmented reality, including Gram technology, internet connectivity, and artificial intelligence.

Al-Anzi emphasized the importance of incorporating broader and more innovative elements into school textbooks to keep pace with these technological developments.

The celebration was attended by several faculty members and participating male and female students who showcased their work in the art exhibition held at the Ministry’s General Office.
