Over 50 local and Gulf companies compete for new cleaning contracts in Kuwait
A responsible source in the Kuwait Municipality revealed that the number of local and Gulf companies wishing to participate in the new cleaning contract tenders; has exceeded to 50 companies so far.
The source confirmed to Al-Rai that the Municipality has prepared a comprehensive study on the new contracts and has set stricter conditions, including new penalties, sanctions, and fines for service provision.
Importantly, the source pointed out that the new cleaning contracts have been removed from the Municipality’s scope of work and are now under the supervision of the relevant authorities, to be referred to the Central Tenders Agency for offering them.
The source explained that the Municipality has opened participation to both Gulf and local companies alike to create a competitive environment, which will naturally improve the quality of work.
