Kuwait sets the stage with state-of-the-art media support for Gulf Summit
The media center offers advanced facilities and logistical support for seamless coverage by media professionals, television networks, and correspondents from Arab and international news agencies, said Adel Al-Mash’an.

Adel Al-Mash’an, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Information for Media Planning and Knowledge Development, Undersecretary of External Media, stated that the media center accompanying the Gulf Summit is equipped with logistical services and advanced technical facilities. These resources are designed to support media professionals, television networks, and correspondents from Arab and international news agencies in covering the summit’s proceedings, according to Q8-Press.
Al-Mash’an, who heads the media center for the Gulf Summit based at the St. Regis Hotel, confirmed in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Saturday that the Ministry of Information, under the leadership of Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, along with the ministry’s Undersecretary, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, is committed to ensuring that the center is fully equipped with all necessary services. These efforts aim to support media delegations, highlight the process of joint Gulf action, and present the true image of the region’s people to the world.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Information has mobilized all resources and capabilities to ensure the success of the 45th Summit of the Supreme Council for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, hosted by the State of Kuwait today. This reflects the significance of this brotherly Gulf gathering and the distinguished media presence.
Specialized committees, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, have worked diligently to develop and organize all aspects of the summit, including Gulf-themed weeks and preparation programs in coordination with various authorities.
He added that the Ministry of Information has provided all necessary support for invited media professionals to facilitate media coverage, communication, and information exchange. This includes providing them with relevant statistics and data to help them effectively report news and events, as well as follow up on the activities accompanying the Gulf Summit.
He highlighted that the exhibition at the Media Center, featuring participation from all GCC countries and the General Secretariat of the Council, offers an opportunity for attendees to explore the rich projects, achievements, culture, and productions of Gulf Arab nations.
On Friday, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, inaugurated the media center accompanying the 45th Gulf Summit. The center is designed to accommodate over eighty media professionals, journalists, and guests, providing modern studios, computer-equipped workspaces, seminar rooms, dialogue sessions, large screens, and advanced Internet services.
The accompanying exhibition features seven pavilions—six representing the member states and one for the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
